Party Foul! Fridays

By Benjamin Leatherman

Published on July 24, 2008

Life apparently goes on for the DJs of the recently closed nightspot Glam. Not only is Faux Show founder Jared Alan hunting for a new home for his decadent dance extravaganza, but Kevin the Makeout Bandit and the other beat-spinning boys of the former Word Up! Saturdays have debuted a new night called Party Foul! Fridays at Homme Lounge, 138 West Camelback Road. Joined by DJs Bigie, Epidemic, BC/AD, and Craig Citizen, Kevin and company get the party going on the second and fourth Fridays of every month and are urging folks to "come get nasty" at the club. The soundtrack is a massive mix of retro, remixes, club-bangers, and hip-hop, as well as the specialized sub-genres of blog-house and "bmore." Special guests are also featured (such as DJ Mykill from San Francisco, who visits on Friday, July 25). The music starts at 9 p.m., with no cover before 11. Visit www.myspace.com/partyfoulaz.
