Faculty Lecture Series: Binh Danh

Binh Danh, Louise Fisher

Binh Danh received his MFA from Stanford University. His technique incorporates his invention of the chlorophyll printing process, in which photographic images appear embedded in leaves through the action of photosynthesis. His newer body of work focuses on the daguerreotype process with subject matters ranging from American Civil War battlefields and the National Parks.

The Art Grads (TAG) is a student organization representing the graduate art students in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. The 2017 Faculty Lecture Series will feature speakers from a wide range of art disciplines, offering students and the Phoenix community opportunities to engage with professors in the School of Art.
