Without a doubt, one of the hippest places in town to enjoy an upscale wine- and appetizer-tasting experience. The settings are posh baroque, with lots of cushy armchairs and sofas. The menu is tiny -- 12 appetizers -- but the food is excellent. Duck and truffle pâté, marinated calamari and octopus salad, Egyptian flatbreads (gourmet pizzas). An exceptional wine list and terrific offbeat music, too.
