Live oom-pah-pah music, waitresses decked out in cute dirndl dresses, and more than 25 German beers on tap certainly give Black Forest Mill a fun vibe, but the food’s good, too. We’re fans of the wiener schnitzel, a crisp, golden fried veal cutlet, as well as the decadent jaeger schnitzel, a sautéed pork cutlet slathered in thick, mushroom-studded gravy. Homemade spaetzle and top-notch sauerkraut are just a couple of the tasty side dishes. Head to the lively bar area to hang with the soccer fans, hit the dance floor when you’re feeling extroverted, or snuggle into a cozy curtained booth when you’re in the mood to chill.
