    JAZZ TRIBUTE AT PARADISE VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE - PVCC?s Faculty Jazz Quintet will perform the music of HERBIE HANCOCK at 7:30pm on Saturday, September 13th in the college?s Center for the Performing Arts. Hancock is a noted composer and pianist whose output spans many genres, including classic jazz of the 1960's, electronic music from the early days of MTV and a 2007 Grammy award-winning album based on the music of Joni Mitchell.     The FILM FESTIVAL AT PVCC begins at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 3rd with a screening of Giuseppe Tornatore?s Cinema Paradiso and continues on September 10th with a screening of Federico Fellini?s Amarcord. The 2008-2009 Film Festival at PVCC features Italian and German films and is presented free of charge in the Center for the Performing Arts.
